Lorinser previews the tuning package for the new generation SL-Class (R 231)

The German tuner Lorinser, specialized in modifying standard Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has recently released an official sketch teasing the tuning package destined for the new SL roadster. Although we don't get any information regarding the engine specification and further special technical upgrades, the styling updates look promising. The forthcoming Lorinser SL (R 231) features a more pronounced front fascia, showcasing a bulged bumper with revised air intakes, as well as accentuated details for the radiator grille and around the intelligent LED headlights. The side parts of the cabriolet will become crisper thanks to the specially designed, dark tinted alloy wheels with a total diameter of 20 inches. As usual in these cases, the interior is expected to boast some exquisite appointments like carbon fiber/metallic dashboard trims, two-tone colour combination and stitched leather upholstery.
