MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS is the last major Formula 1 team to unveil its new single-seater for the 2012 season, with the official premiere taking place next week in the pit lane of Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona, ahead of the first test rounds on the Spanish track. Rivals speculate the Silver Arrows team will bring a series of spectacular aerodynamic and gas exhaust innovations on the F1 W03 car, this being the major reason of the delay. The dark teasers don't reveal too much, but we can be sure the nose will be in line with the new regulations. Hopefully, the Brackley engineers managed to find a more elegant, yet efficient solution, similar to McLaren's MP4-27, although the pictures seem to tell a different story...

The 2012 MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS car, the F1 W03, will be publicly unveiled in the team's paddock at the Circuit de Catalunya next Tuesday, on the 21st of February. The first to try the new car is Michael Schumacher, who will be driving the F1 W03 throughout the day. The test programme then resumes on Wednesday with Nico Rosberg in charge of the wheel, who will also be driving the single-seater on Friday, the last day at Barcelona. Michael will return into the cockpit for a last run on Thursday.
